Most People only catch a glimpse of the village of Madeley as they drive through on their way to the popular local garden centres. This video shows the many attractions of this quaint and pleasant village.
Local Historian Philip Leese provides the narration, describing local highlights such as the Pre-Raphaelite stained glass windows in the All Saints Church, and the oddly named pub, "The Offley Arms", which as it turns out takes its name from the 17th century local landowner Sir John Offley, a friend of the Stafford Angler, Izaac Walton.
