"I can teach people to swim WITHOUT going near water"  is the astonishing claim of Staffordshire man Mike Piddock.

"Fear of water is what stops many people swimming, and it can also be a killer if an accident happens.   Yet a few simple techniques are all that you really need to conquer the fear and be able to swim.  I can teach these in under 20 minutes".

With a 100% success rate, Mike has proved many times that he can take someone who is totally frightened of the water, and have them swimming in 20 minutes. So sure is he of success that he has taken it upon himself to prove it is possible by showing it actually happening on video.

In the film, Mr. Piddock takes non swimmer Trevor Maclaine to the local pool.  By the end of the film we see him swim for the first time.

"Before we started", said Trevor, "I was really frightened and couldn't even think about swimming.  But the few simple techniques that Mike showed me gave me the confidence I needed.  At the end of our session I actually swam five metres of the pool.  To some this may seem nothing, yet to me, its amazing.  If I can do it, anyone can."

The filming was closely watched by a qualified instructor and life-saver at the pool.  Even she had to admit that the results were unexpected.  After Trevor swam his first five metres, she was so delighted that she awarded him his first ever swimming badge.

The video shows all the techniques needed, in an easy to follow, step-by-step method.  Just watch it at home, then follow the steps when you visit your local pool.  It is claimed that any able-bodied, non swimming adult should be swimming in about 20 minutes.

Mike added,  "An awful lot of people are missing out on a lot of fun and exercise, just because they are afraid to admit they cannot swim.  My video will put an end to their fears, and allow them to have fun and be safe in the water."
